SPIED: Mercedes-Benz Readying Its All-New ML To Take On The Competition
It can be argued that Mercedes-Benz's ML was the mid-size luxury sport-ute that started it all but in the past couple of years the current generation has been overshadowed by new arrivals.

So, you had to know that Mercedes was not going to take this sitting down.

This means that we have brought you the latest spy photographs of the ML caught during shakedown testing. As we reported months ago, the new ML was involved in an intriguing incident with an S-Class coupe mule that ran astray a snow-covered road.

But in the meantime, new photos have popped up, thanks to our friends at Auto Motor Und Sport.

It is still too early to tell details but things appear to be shaping up.

I'm just pointing out that every picture of a new Mercedes model being tested is always in the snow.

It can be argued that Mercedes-Benz's ML was the mid-size luxury sport-ute that started it all but NO, it was the grand cherokee and merc wanted a piece of the action b/c people who owned a merc sedan had a jeep parked next to it, so it bought chrysler to learn why that thing sells or sold so well and built their own.

I always thought the Lexus RX was the first luxury SUV. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was upscale but by no means considered luxury. It was a leather apointed V8 optioned Cherokee to begin with. The RX would have been my pick for first luxury SUV.
