NEW YORK AUTO SHOW PREVIEW: 001 And 00R Take On The Big Apple, Who Will Measure Up and Who Might Fail?

This week's kickoff to the New York International Auto Show demands more attention than usual.

The press preview will be bristling with significant new models and high-ranking U.S. executives. Then the show opens to the public Friday at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

001 and 00R are dodging the pouring rain in NY getting ready to bring you the best coverage of the 2010 New York Auto Show

The new models will run the gamut from hybrids and other fuel-efficient vehicles to performance cars. Some automakers, wanting to raise expectations surrounding their introductions, are already divulging details and photos. Here are some models that will be officially unveiled over the next few days:

Thank you! I dont mind it but it gets carried away when there are more chick pics than cars OR when the pics of the cars (the really nice ones) have two chicks standing in front of it as if they were invisible.

Equus is badged as Centennial here in Middle East and so far i haven't seen one on the road. I have seen one in Hyundai Showroom.
I agree who is going to buy this when you can get the original for a few thousands more. Also imo the car is not bad and Hyundai maybe could have achieved some sales if the copy was not so obvious.

The car looks too much like S class from front end and LS from rear. Interior again is full copy of LS. Other details like hood ornament, headlights, exhaust design are also very straight forward to figure out whom they lifted them from.

The overall design doesn't look bad at all but i say come up with your own design Hyundai even if it is half as good as what Equus looks now.
