The most expensive BMW ever on the horizon?



Airbus will unveil a mock-up of the cabin for its new A350 twinjet at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2006 exhibition in Hamburg next month.

Airbus has linked with BMW to design a new interior on the A350 which will feature a number of new features, as it seeks to counter the new concepts introduced by Boeing in the cabin of the rival 787 twinjet. It is unclear the exact extent of the German automotive company's participation in the new interiors.

From a secret internal memo with the walls of Airbus; every seat will have a 10 inch screen in the headrest and passengers will be able to control the entertainment (music and video) with their very own iDrive knob. Also, passengers will be able to use the iDrive for the integrated iPod that is in every seat.

Business and First Class passengers will have the pleasure of sitting in BMW's 16-way power front Comfort seats with 4-way lumbar support, articulated upper backrest, adjustable backrest width, and adjustable thigh support.

.....on the serious side, that'll be one sweet cabin. Too bad for all those black out dates on my miles.....
