Peugeot 407 range

• Prices up, new trim level added
• 2.7-litre diesel now available in saloon and estate
• Prices from £15,500 to £26,900

Peugeot has tweaked its 407 range, adding more equipment and increasing prices to its saloons and estate models.

Buyers can now choose from four trim levels – S, SE, Sport and Executive – and seven engines. The 2.7-litre V6 diesel from the 407 Coupe is now available in the saloon and estate, but only in Executive trim.

S models start at £15,500 for the saloon and £16,700 for the SW and come with climate control, alarm and trip computer.

I test-drove this one in Europe a few months ago. OK styling but lousy handling. In the end we chose a Passat over it, In terms of handling they're not even in the same league.
