STUD or DUD: Is DINAN's Take On The 1M/M1/Tii Better Than Waiting For An OEM Version?

You know the saying, "when the going gets tough, the tough gets going."
Well, Dinan has gotten going.
The impatient BMW tuner has come out with their version of what can be considered a 1-Series M. Boasting well thought out modifications to the 135i, the end result is a 1 coupe that is producing 380-horsepower on 91 octane fuel and 408-horsepower on 93 octane.
Uh, can you say BEAST?
Besides the fact the vehicle has a perfect, tasteful ride height, you have to ask yourself if its worth approximately $12,000. Well, if you cannot wait to see if BMW pulls through, I think the choice is clear.
