London's Black Cab To Get A Makeover From China

Autocar reports:

Chinese firm Geely will launch its own version of the London black cab at this month’s Beijing motor show.

Geely’s Englon TXN concept is a modern recreation of the classic TX4 black cab. The firm has released two low-quality renderings of it running through London’s streets, as well as interior pictures.

Just in case you didnt read the article, because Geely is taking a controlling stake in the company and will be producing the black London Cabs from this point, don't you think it makes sense to keep a similar design, just update it a little?

or did you not read the article and just assume the Chinese always copy designs?
