Is that annual premium or 6 month? Either way I am under in the good state of CT paying $1400 per year. I love seeing commercials where people's rates are $400 or less a year! It's such a joke cause it is so unrealistic in my state.

Traveler's once quoted me at $1300, I was so psyched I said for the year? They said Oh no for 6 months. I laughed so hard at the lady on the phone and she said "That's a great rate." I replied kindly that is was definitely not, my current insurance is almost half that. She couldn't compete.

How can insurance for a car in South Dakota(!) cost nearly the same as California or Washington, DC?
