2011 Vw Touareg 2Motion to make its debut in the U.S.
As you may know already, the brand new 2011 Vw Touareg made its debut at the New York Auto Show and is preparing to hit the dealerships.

So they are going to turn it into a minivan that does not look like a minivan. I don't see the point of an SUV without 4X4.

Look at just about every other "SUV" on the market. How many are 4x4?

I cannot stand SUVs that are 2WD. Especially when the pricing for them is so low but because it is a 2WD model. Then add 4WD and your jacked up a few grand. I guess I am biased though because owning a 2WD SUV up in the Northeast makes as much sense as a day without a BMW article on Autospies. 2WD up here devalues your car A LOT. I can see it in Florida being worthwhile for 2WD since it's flat and sunny. (hurricanes and daily showers aside).

I love that they need to call it 2motion. Cannot wait for the sales pitch "Hey it's equipped with 2motion" What's the alternative? Flintstone it?
