Orders for the new Porsche Cayenne exceeding expectations

As you may know already Porsche unveiled its second-generation Cayenne SUV in March at the Geneva Motor Show and the car is preparing to hit the showrooms on May 8.

Although it didn’t expect this, Porsche says the orders for its new Cayenne beat expectations. “We’re looking at an incredibly high order intake from almost all markets,” said CEO Michael Macht refusing to give any figures though.

Nearly all automakers are starting to use the "we have orders exceeding our expectations" statement when it comes to new models. No way to tell how many of those will become sales though....

YOu're right! All they have to do is announce a low introductory sales figure and voila. The rear reminds me of a Hyundai Santa Fe.
