SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's NEW AMG CLS Steps Out And Shows Us Some Skin
When I saw the sculpture in Detroit, I was not entirely sure if the new CLS was going to look hot.

But, when I saw these spy shots today, I think they may have another winner on their hands. If you take a second and observe the photos closely, you can make out the new headlight and taillight shape, the roofline is evident as-is the pontoon rear fenders.

Who else is diggin' it?

Autocar reports:

These are the latest spy pictures of AMG’s range-topping version of the new Mercedes CLS.

The saloon is set to be revealed at the Paris motor show in September; an estate version will be launched at next week’s Beijing motor show.

Codenamed C218, the new CLS sits on the same underpinnings as the current E-class, with a 20mm longer wheelbase than today’s model along with a corresponding increase in length, taking it to around 4950mm. But as with the first-gen CLS, the new car is more about style than interior space...

I agree from the looks of it this car looks like it will have the new eclass front but i do agree with the interior on the new e-class im not a fan at all....it looks to boxy and cheap....but I wouldnt doubt they will use that interior because of cost effeicency. this is my 2nd favorite benz next to the CL. from what I can see from the pictures is that this thing will be killer jus like the previous model. I wonder what BRABUS will do to this model.

I agree, the CLS interior needs to be different from the E, but not because I don't like the new E interior, its just way to conservative for the CLS. The its own identity on the interior to match that beautiful exterior.

I think the new front facia seems to be an improvement as well.

I also agree CLS interior should be as far as possible from E class interior. E class interior is very bland and too boxy.
Also i think it should not look like S and CL interior as that is great for big luxury cars but CLS is sporty and stylish so should get matching interior.

I think it will have the current SL front end or something similar. The shape of the headlights is definately SL like.

No matter how the interior is going to look like or the exterior there is no shadow of a doubt that the motor in it will be throwing hammer fists the way it has always been.
