Defection from other brands an encouraging sign for the new Chevy Tahoe

I agree with MB. The sales to date really reflect people already in the tahoe-gm loop. At the price gm is asking for the 07 tahoe, there are many better alternatives that bypass (thank GOD) GM. Until GM can somehow get their dealers to offer better service and loaners, they will fail

We can't read too much into those sales figures. Right now the Tahoe is the newest product in its segment and getting a sales boost as a result (from both owners of old Tahoes and from owners of other SUVs). Next year and the year after, other newer competitors will come along and the Tahoe won't be selling so well.
