Audi U.S. sales to top 90,000 units in 2010, chief says
According to Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen, the German’s manufacturer U.S. sales will increase to at least 90,000 this year. For those who don’t know, Audi sold only 82,716 units in the US last year while back in 2008 the German manufacturer recorded 87,760 units sold.

The only problem might be that Audi is losing U.S. sales because inventory is too lean after a strong first quarter.

If they keep it up, they will turn into Toyota or GM. I hate Audis. This coming from a former owner.

Audi is the car company that I've tried so hard to love but not anymore. I too used to own an Audi (B6 A4), I've come to the conclusion if it shares parts with a VW than just by a VW instead and save yourself the extra cash and headaches.

To any potential Audi buyers out there, I strongly suggest you research the forums (esp on A4s) about electrical issues, and interior button delaminatings before you purchase one.

Audi's are good cars. Just because you had a bad experience with one model it doesn't mean all of them are bad. Lexus shares more parts with Toyota than Audi with VW but no one complains about that. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions but I had no problems with my R8 during my time with it.

good cars??? Uh, theyve gotten better but past Audis were horribly unreliable lets we recall the 1.8t and 2.7t??? awful cars as were most non turbo audis including the 4.2 models. Yes, eletrical problems other than issues with the turbos seem to be the biggest things. They continue to make great strides in this department but lets not kid ourselves into thinking they are good cars. On a sidenote im really looking forward to the final production model of the A7 im curious to see what a more style focused Audi will look like.

Hey, no one can stay #1 forever. History usually repeat itself.

Congrat's rom64, you have effectively made a statement that clearly defines what you do not know. I would suggest that you refill your cup of dissapointment with knowledge and refrain from spreading the inaccurate advice, but then knowledge is usually the divider in these cases. Do you know why the B5 Passat is the B5??? If not then research it. I'm assuming you have a computer.
