Chrysler projecting about a 20% increase in U.S. sales for April
Chrysler Group predicts that April 2010 would have US sales that are 20% higher than in April 2009, according to Chrysler spokeswoman Kathy Graham.

She said that at a dealer-only conference call last Wednesday, Fred Diaz, Chrysler’s chief sales executive, released these projected figures.This would be the second time since the 1% increase last February that Chrysler recorded a monthly sales increase. In April 2009, Chrysler sold 76,682 vehicles in the US.

The atmosphere at Chrysler is very positive. New young designers good engineers. This will be quite a success story. They need to eliminate the ballance of Diamler dealings. The Challengers assembly line was halted because Diamler refused to supply steering columns and auto transmission. There back on track. My sources say the Challenger and Wrangler are the big sellers. We will know soon.
