Come On Feel The Noise: BMW's Mighty 2011 M5 Caught In Action

all right already show me the finished product.

This car is going to be an absolute monster. It has the same engine that makes a 5000+ lb SUV accelerate to 60 in 4.2 seconds, but will have an additional 30 to 40 hp!! It could weigh in under 4000lb if it uses carbon fiber body panels that it is rumored to have. Plus a seven speed double clutch, and active aero pieces.

Mighty? You mean with almost 600 hp this car can finally break 8:00 barrier?

Do you see the wheelspin @ 0:13 and understeer @ 0:31? This tells me M5 is turning to yet aother muscle car.

lol how is that understeer? it took the perfect line out of that corner.

LOL... Apparently you have no feel about how fast a corner should be..... Look at how much that driver slow down and how late he applied throttle after apex.

I dont really see it. If your referring to the second corner its a sharp turn, heavy breaking is required. Look at a video of any other car going around that corner. Either way this is going to be the fastest four door ever. And it should lap around 7:45 if not faster, I saw a spy video where the M5 test mule had a GTR chase car, im assuming they are using it as a benchmark for the performance of the M5.

i dont know if you like Audi, or Lexus's or what. But the RS6 has close to 600 hp and cant break 8 minutes, and no lexus can go sub 8 besides the LF-A. The only 4 doors that have gone sub 8 as far as i know are the Porsche panamerica, and the cts-v.

Look like BMW got another winner coming out soon. Drive video, sick...... I like it = ) But I wish they make the front headlights and front bumper little more different because it look similar to the BMW M3.

When the M5 roars, everyone listens quietly ;)

This will be another beast, which turns out to be beautiful at the same time. Can´t wait to drive it.

E60 M5 is legendary, and this one will set the bar even higher!
