Chinese Automaker Brilliance Fails To Capitalize, Pulls Out Of Europe
Brilliance Auto, BMW's partner in China, has halted its car exports to Europe after its in-house designed BS4 and BS6 met with a cool reception and there is no timetable for resumption, senior company executives said on Thursday.
The executives, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the company would look to start sales again in Europe with products that could meet new EU emissions standards sometime in the future.

Thats an outdated safety video that showed a 1 gen old Brillance, they have since reworked the safety aspects of it and its been rated pretty highly . As for a "tin" , let it be known that a lack of "crumple zones" is what made it less safe.
As for the EU market, its not one heterogeneous market, and auto's are fiercely competitive and PROTECTED .
But be under no illusion the Chinese market is the biggest and the those that dont open up will face retaliation in that market.
Since VW, GM, Renault-Nissan depend a bit too much on it, a push back by the chinese will nearly kill them .
As for the US, GM mostly sells in China with out Govt susbsidy, kill that and goodbye car manufacturing in the US.

Lack of crumple zones? there are mini vans that have 5 stars with half the crumple zones, this car lacks engineering, and It would be safe to say that the revised version of this car would be just legal, I would never consider one of these cars.
