Exclusive photos: Chrysler to introduce long wheelbase 300c

the 300C is by far one of my most favorite cars today after it's release. BUT!.. the design of it's interior does not look loaded enough with luxury for it to be stretched. If it was to be stretched, that would require more wood, more material. The rear of the car looks plain enough as it is. Stretching it out more would look even more plain. Unless Chrysler has plans for the interior change, the 'limo' version will be quite trimmed-down looking.

As spectacular as the 300 is, it's interior is only fair at it's $24K starting price point. At $34K, the 300C must use its dazzling powertrain to get buyers to overlook it's down-market interior. Those hard plastic door panels carry over model to model.

If only Chrysler would offer a truly splendid interior option for these cars. And please, dear God, offer it in a color palette that is something other than shades of dirt!! Mouse beige or mouse grey, take your pick. How about a saddle leather color like the original 300's? Or dark green with the tortoise accents, or a red? Ivory white would be so appreciated in the warm parts of the US. How about upgraded hardware with chrome or aluminum switchgear on the doors? These are simple, inexpensive color and trim modifications Chrysler could do and completely re-energize the existing car. And charge much more for it.

The long-wheelbase model begs for some of these upgrades, but it does not appear it will get them.

My favorite aspect about the existance of the long-wheelbase model is that it might pave the way for an Imperial model. (But please, use the Chronos for inspiration, not the recent show car!)
