VIDEO: BMW's M1/Tii/1M Caught On Tape Making A Six Cylinder Symphony

Thanks to our friends at Bimmerpost and Auto Motor Und Sport, we have new footage of BMW's on/off again M1/Tii/whateverthehellthey'regoingtocallit project.

And, if you are a fan of six cylinder powerplants and their sound, wow, BMW is onto something with this new 1-Series.

Although there has yet to be any official announcement describing what BMW will be doing with this car, speculation insists it will be here shortly.

We're crossing our fingers.

is this basically an E46 M3 engine?

for the most part but with a twin turbo. generating 350hp. with the twin-turbo it should get much better gas mileage than the E46 M3.
