Hyundai to ramp up production of the hot-selling 2011 Sonata
It’s not a surprise that the redesigned 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a best-seller and it’s not a surprise that the Korean manufacturer decided to ramp up the production of the new model. It appears that this move came after dealers reported several shortages of the mid-sized car but also of the redesigned Tucson crossover.

“We knew Tucson would be a problem because it’s global,” says Hyundai Motor America sales chief Dave Zuchowski. “But if you had told me Sonata would be a problem, I would have told you you’re crazy.”

With the rate of how fast the Sonatas are selling Hyundai could be looking at supply problems very soon.

The thing is Toyota Camry or Honda Accord is NOT a Japanese car any more (they use 90% non-Japanese parts) and its recent reliability records reflect that.

If you want real Japanese quality car, you have to pay $50K or more. For example, Lexus GS or higher which use 75% or higher Japanese parts.

See ? It's not surprise. Within 10 years or so, Toyota and Honda will have Volkswagen's quality and Hyundai will have great quality like past Toyota and Honda we used to have. It already has begun. I think it's a smart move to buy Hyundai now. It was a smart move to buy Lexus or Acura in about 20 years ago......

I test drove honda accord, Toyota camry, Prius ,Fusion and Hyundai Sonata Limited, I got to tell you Hyundai Sonata was the best drive to my surprise. It had all the features that i am looking for leather, gps, rear view camera, heated seats, moon roof, infinity system, bluetooth, 18 inch chrome wheels all for under 28K plus 3 year bumper to bumper and 5 year transmission plus it looks sleek. The car is designed in Southern California and assembled in Alabama . This is the best time to buy car and I want the best car for my buck. I tell you drive this car and your opinion will change
