Ferrari rules out a four-door sports saloon
Ferrari won’t be pressured into producing a four-door sports saloon, unlike its rivals Aston Martin and Porsche. Ferrari’s chief executive Amedeo Felisa said that the company will honor the tradition started by founder, Enzo Ferrari, who said that it will “never do four doors.”

It was pointed out that Ferrari is now making a hybrid vehicle and is using fuel-saving stop-start technology on its cars — which it previously has said that it won’t ever do. Felisa smoothly responds to this, saying that hybrid was forced on the company by regulation but that there is now law compelling it to use four doors.
