VIDEO: Not Your IDEAL Product Placement, Iron Man 2 Kills Two RR Phantoms

VIDEO: Not Your IDEAL Product Placement, Iron Man 2 Kills Two RR Phantoms
Carscoop reports:

There's something to be said for keeping it real. Making a movie? Keep it real. Getting interrogated by the cops? DO NOT KEEP IT REAL.

While it's obvious that a film like Iron Man requires a planet's-worth of special effects, stuff like wrecking cars usually shouldn't. We all saw how poor choice of CGI affected the fourth Indiana Jones movie.

That's why it's refreshing to see that some of the fancy cars destroyed in Iron Man 2 were real. Tony Stark's Rolls-Royce getting destroyed at a race in Monaco was legit (but filmed in California)...

In the movie, the car has round lights below the rectangular lights so it's a Phantom. Ghost doesn't have those round lights up front.

I watched the movie, and it's a ghost.

Watch it again buddy. You can see it's clearly a Phantom when they arrive at Monaco. There's a front view shot of the car and it match the picture above exactly.

I meant to say, it wasn't a ghost. Critical error. Sorry.

That is most certainly a Phantom. You will note the rectangular chrome within the taillight around the reverse light as well as the fact that the tail light does not curve up over the back of the body, but rather remains on the rear of the car only. It is a Phantom.
