Step Aside, Mr. Bond, I'll Take 10 Of The NEW Aston Martin One-77s, Please

TimesOnline reports:

Bond would say it’s excessive, but Aston Martin won’t say anything. However, sources within the company report that one buyer has placed what is probably the biggest order in the marque’s history.

The mystery customer has ordered 10 Aston Martin One-77 supercars, which are of limited edition and will cost £1.2m apiece when sales start later this year. The huge order accounts for 13% of the total production run of 77 cars, and a bill for £12m. The buyer, who is believed to be of Middle Eastern origin, has specified a different colour scheme and cabin trim for each car.

The One-77 was revealed last year by the Warwickshire-based company...

The side view certainly does share some Camaro-like genetics. I find it troubling that the Accord Coup has mimicked the gorgeous and famous rear quarter window line from the Aston DB9.

Hmm...
one for display...
one for showing off...
one for serious track racing...
one for having fun at the track...
backup #1 in case the others are dirty....
backup #2 in case backup #1 was involved in an accident...
backup #3, 4, 5, and 6 for my family to invest in (and make them happy)
...and so forth... Hmm If I had the money, I think it all makes sense :)

I wish the taillights could actually light up all the way from the left to the right - it should when one considers the price.

Oh, and this guy is selfish!

Something tells me this won't be in Bond 23.

In all honestly the One-77 doesn't appeal to me the way others did- it's missing something other Aston's have. It's a little too OTT for my tastes.......
