As we all know, a car or truck becomes a member of the family. Sometimes it's cranky in the morning. On a gorgeous day, it seems to glide over hills and gobble up the interstae. So it's only fitting that your car -- and all cars -- have names.

I only named 4 of my cars and my '91 nissan stanza was named niecy. my '99 chrysler sebring was named sabrina. my '02 audi a4 was named bb or baby black. my '07 audi a4 was named zippy.

True. Naming your car is such a girl thing. They don't care about the driving dynamics or performance, but instead choose to put human characteristics on a machine.

No. Most enthusiasts will name their car, because its a way of personally connecting with the car. A car is more than just a "machine" for driving dynamics or performance. This is the same as many race car drivers will name their car.

Personally, my car is Thor, because it will hammer down the highway!
