Audi TT-RS to receive 7-speed dual-clutch S-Tronic gearbox
According to the latest reports, it appears that the Audi TT-RS, known as the most powerful version of the popular car, will receive a 7-speed dual-clutch S-tronic gearbox, starting this autumn!

This news was announced at the Leipzig Auto Show, where Audi unveiled its facelifted TT Coupe and Cabrio. Regarding the TT-RS, together with the new S-tronic gearbox, the model will also receive launch control and you know what this means: the car will be faster and will be capable to spring from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.6 seconds (the 0-100 km/h time for the TT-RS fitted with a manual gearbox).

This should have been the step up TT, with the new upgraded 2.0t in the base tt there is a big price difference between the TT and TTS but from a performance stand point they are actually pretty close.

"why not put it in an A5 and do a repeat of the quattro coupe"

- Because Audi is clueless when it comes to product placement in the U.S.A.

They're too busy sucking up to China.

The A5 is significantly heavier - so putting the 5 cylinder engine would not recreate the Ur-Quattro's brilliance.

JB007 = Joyfully Blows Owners Of 7-Series?

Since we're hitting on this form of high-brow automotive humor at the peak of it's popularity, did you know you could say that Ford stands for "Found On Road Dead"? Haha! Wait, wait! How about GM could be "Gay Motors" instead of "General Motors"! Hahahahaha! Oh my god! I can't believe nobody thought of this sooner! Wow!

My fave has to be BMW though; Bored Married Women - the Ultimate Riding Machine.

Dork.
