Mercedes GLK Comes Off as Seductive and Fustrating At the Same Time
Sometimes there's no explaining it, no way to quantify it. A vehicle just strikes the right chords despite flaws and annoyances.
For twice the price of a Honda CR-V, the GLK gives you less space for passengers and cargo and worse fuel economy.
GLK continues M-B's abominable cruise control lever that's easy for your fingers to confuse with the turn signal — leading, worst case, to unintended acceleration.

i actually really like the way this car looks and have it on the top of my list along with the audi q5 and volvo xc 60 for my wife when her RDX lease is up in 2 months..
( just so you know, i might consider the rdx as well, an excellent car, not 1 single problem in 3 years and just a great ride for a small suv, not crazy about exterior, but interior is nice )

I am seriously sick about reading this. When you first drive a Mercedes with this configuration it might be confusing. The second time you'll get used to it. On my C230 I NEVER confuse the signal stalk with the cruise control. Never.

So you don't have to explain it to someone here is a link. Ignore the typo at the beginning.

The CRV has a 4 cylinder the GLK a 6 and the GLK is a luxury vehicle why would you expect these 2 cars to be the same price and offer the same gas mileage??????

@Willis: I couldn't agree more. After on drive, only someone who is 'challenged' will confuse the turn signal lever and the cruise control lever.
