Bmw 6-Series Gran Coupe ready to enter production
The BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will soon go into production, according to sources close to BMW. Specific details have yet to be revealed and so far, the company hasn’t mentioned a launch date.

But when considering the BMW Concept Gran Coupe seen in Beijing, a production car can’t be more than two years away. Last April, BMW Gran Coupe debuted at the Beijing Motor Show. When compared to the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept displayed at Frankfurt Auto Show in 2009, the BMW Gran Coupe Concept displayed a design more similar to a production model. These BMW models, like its competitors, are being targeted towards four-door coupe buyers who want an elegant, with a slightly extravagant design, luxurious interior and driving performance.

The 6er, like the outgoing 5, really needs a redo. The 5 because it was ugly as sin, and 6 because it looked like such a yawner.

We all know that BMW build cars that handle really well, and we generally agree that they have what it takes to create gorgeous cars. I just wish they would return to doing both at the same time... inside and out.

i disagree i think the current 5 is pretty especially the 550 with the M-package. i think the current 5 is the best unique design the 5 series has ever had thanks to bangle. Bangle is the reason why the industry is the way it is....now there are a lot of car manufacturers that are going outside the box with their designs and a perfect example of that is the Hyudai Genesis Sedan.

Looks good from the pics. I might like bmw again but only if they go back to 2003 when they didn't have any suv/sav's. "The Ultimate Driving Machine" = cars, in my opinion.

The Ultimate Driving MACHINE. Recite that over again. There is nothing wrong with BMW going into different markets. I think BMW has haters because they can make and master anything with a steering wheel to be a driving orgasm...

you're freaking kidding me right? The Hyundai Genesis Sedan has Lexus, MB and BMW design written all over it. It NOT their own design when they borrow other people design and cutt and paste it.

I know Kia or Hyundai is improveing a lot but give credit were credit is due.

ok I agree with you that this car carries alot of design ques from other car manufacturers.....BUT.... did you ever expect to see a Hyundai look so pretty and different from what they used to design. They definitley went outside the box with this and it is a HIT beleive it or not.
