But the design of that particular car seems to try a little too hard.

It certainly has enough chrome, and for once the headlights are done right on an American car, but isn't that grille a little too big?

The Cadillac emblem is bigger than a human hand. The designs are certainly more edgier than the current crop, and I applaud them for being bold.

But is there such thing as too bold? How in your face do cars need to be?

The 1st & 4th pic look an awful lot like it might be a sports hatch of some kind judging by the height of the rear deck lid and window form. I am really excited that GM has Cadillac back in the ball game. Their current crop of vehicles is probably the best line up they have had in years, or ever for that matter.With a little bit of omprovement to the interiors, I think Cadillac can finally be a major player once again.

..looks like 'ol Lutz is pulling out the big guns by showing us a sneak peek. Looks great. I hope that this is a production iteration. Good to see a GM design that I can get excited about.
