Who "unveils" a "revealed" vehicle? Chrysler please stop. We need to see your other new products already...

Looks like a nice cross over.

Not a crossover. It's a real SUV, it's even been across the Rubicon trail (i did beat the hell out one of the proto-types though). Low-range and over 11 inches of ground clearance with the right options.

When the automotive journalists take a vehicle through the Rubicon they make a road, IE; they have a team of road builders that place rocks in all the holes to make it easier, then after they leave they move the rocks again, 11in of ground clearance? is that a lot? That would be a lot if it were under your axle, but under the lowest point of your vehicle isn't a lot.And does it come with passenger car tires? Or real truck tires? Does it have selectable lockers? Does the transfer case lock? I am not a huge fan of IFS, mostly because IFS vehicles have limited wheel travel, I like the idea that it comes with the Hemi, I would be jumping up and down if it came with 35in tires on 17in rims with two solid axles with Fox racing shocks all around, and wheel travel to match a race truck, how about make it tough enough to compete with 'Kink Of The Hammers"? I am dreaming. It is amusing to hear what has been across the Rubicon, it would be impressive if there were no road builders and a video and time to go with that claim.

Well I completely agree with you. While the world a cars has advance true off road SUV is fallen behind. With car magazine complaining about real off-roader don't handle like cars, automakers are compromising the hell out of the to make Consumer Reports happy. You also spot on about the solid axle, at least the wrangler has them (for now). While this is a tarted ML it still has a low range and that something.

They started building them on May 12th, So announcing it would be a good Idea.
