SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's SLS Cabrio Caught In The Open & On Video

Man, oh, man.

Mercedes-Benz really did a number when they released the Gullwing-inspired SLS AMG and they continue to outdo themselves with what is clearly an SLS convertible.

No idea on price or specifications, but we can assume its price will be somewhere north of the coupe variant. Specs will likely remain the same but a slight power bump would not be surprising.

This video is great and is what I was hoping for / expecting from Autospies. I'm in my mid-40s now and I don't get excited about upcoming cars anymore but this is different. Just out of curiosity, why are they covering up the red/burgundy hardtop given its public release already? Is this a special model or something?

This is the best spy video ive ever seen! Kudos to whatever team captured this.

On a side note: Why is the Benz parade being led by an Audi R8? Is Mercedes-Benz trying to send a subliminal message? Also, whats in the Penske truck at the tail end? Is it computers and equipment used for testing the cars?
