RUMOR: Is BMW Working On Two NEW Concepts?
BMWBlog reports:

A new week and new rumors around future plans for the BMW brand. With the economy showing signs of recovery and automakers reporting profits once again, the automotive field becomes exciting once again. BMW has recently unveiled an unexpected, but highly appreciated new concept, BMW Gran Coupe, a concept that plans to fill the shoes of the canceled CS Concept and one that brings new competition to the four-door coupe segment.

Today, our favorite BMW insider, Scott27, gives us a glance  into BMW’s future and outlines the details of two new concepts to come.

First, BMW Compactive Sport Tourer, a flexible Sports Concept for four or five passengers. Second, Advanced Sport Tourer, another flexible Sports Concept for four, five or seven passengers...

BMW is on a nice collision course to become the Toyota of luxury cars. So water-ed down and playing off their performance roots that every model starts to look the same and act the same and become boring. At least in a true BMW fans eyes (not a reference to me as I respect BMW but am not a fan).

I'f I buy a BMW ever it would be either a 3 or 5 series with AWD. Keep it simple.

I'm thinking these 2 new concepts could have design elements for the new 3GT and/or next gen X6........

While I'm not a real fan of the 5GT I think a 3GT if designed w/o the fugly factor could be a hit......
