Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) to debut at Pebble Beach this August
Soon after it became known that Infiniti is working on a pair of new G-based vehicles, reports came out that Nissan North America has filed for a trademark for “IPL,” which stands for Infiniti Performance Line.

The filing describes this line as a new catalog of in-house developed that include everything from air filters to cat-back exhaust systems, and automotive engine parts, namely turbochargers and superchargers. This series of actions is believed to be comparable to the methods that NISMO have utilized to develop and market Nissan parts that support Lexus’ launch of its F-Sport performance line. This lineup of performance parts is expected to be fitted to the G37 coupe and to have its unveiling this August at the Pebble Beach extravaganza.

Will they come with a year supply of IPA with each purchase? You'd have me at hello on that one.

Is that the growl of a twin turbo G37 coupe, becasue if so, sign me up Infiniti. Sure did take them long enough though. This car will dominate, so hurry up and put it out.

This is yet another answer to a question nobody asked--very similar and just as pointless as Lexus' F-Sport lineup.

And NO, I'm NOT talking about the IS-F and the LFA. Those are production cars. I'm talking about having big brake kits and spoilers and big forged wheels and suspension kits for mundane, Monday thru Friday luxury cars.

i've always upgrade my brakes, susp and added exterior body mods and wheels without any engine work on a lot of cars that I've owned.

there is nothing wrong with that...hell, I rather have impressive brakes and an even more capable suspension before any gain in HP/TQ anyways.

makes no sense to go fast and not be able to control your speed or be able to stop.

Nissan could easily use a FI 3.5 G against M3 and RS4, since GT-R is totally in different class. Maybe it can be offered in both RWD and AWD?
