Chrysler recalls 575,000 Jeeps, minivans for brake line and wiring defects
s that the company recalled 288,968 Jeep Wranglers for 2001 through 2010 in order to repair a defect caused when liners inside the fenders touch right-front and left-rear brake lines. According to NHTSA this defect lead to wear that may cause fluid to leak and raising the risk of a crash. The good news is that accidents or injuries related to the fluid leak were not reported.

^ Chrysler issued the recall (as you clearly didnt read). A voluntary move. Totally different than someone twisting your arm and making you recall or admit that there is something wrong with your vehicles...
