Hyundai Moves Upscale By Targeting Harrods' Customers In London
In a bit of a marketing stretch, Hyundai is trying to "sell" its new iX35 compact crossover (sold as the 2010 Tucson in North America) at the kind of crowd that shops at Harrods' luxury department store in Knightsbridge, London. The South Korean firm's new crossover model will be on show in Harrods' Brompton Road window displays for a week starting from Monday 7th June.

The Germans invented the automobile.
The Americans invented the assembly line.
The Japanese perfected the assembly line.
And the Koreans/chinese just copy everyone else.

Do you even know What Harrods is ?
It is a Shop in London where the Worlds Rich come to shop. Most Items at Harrods cost 10-25% more than it does at other high end stores in London yet the Harrods Customers stay Loyal because Value for Money means absolutely nothing to them.
The Guy {Mohammed Al Fayed} who Started this Store would probably be Swearing at home at the Indignity of this Deal with Hyundai. He would NEVER, EVER have agreed to a deal like this at his Store
FYI: Mr Fayed Sold Harrods just last month for $2.2 Billion USD to a Qatar Holdings Company {Royal Family}

Hyundai at Harrod's?
Will we see Subaru at Saks? And, of course, there is always a chance of Toyota at Target.
