Official: GM will advertise during the next Super Bowl
General Motors Co. didn’t advertise in last year’s Super Bowl as it was headed towards bankruptcy, but according to some insiders who spoke with the Wall Street Journal, we should expect the carmaker to make an appearance at the Super Bowl XLV broadcast on February 6.

In 2009, GM, Chrysler Group and Ford Motor Co. failed to advertise in the event. And in this year’s Super Bowl, Chrysler was the lone domestic carmaker to have an ad spot, which ran a commercial called “Man’s Last Stand” for the Dodge Charger R/T that was meant to appeal to the male population.
