Mini Coupe coming next summer! Roadster to debut in 2012!

The Mini Coupe and Mini Roadster models, which were unveiled in concept form at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show last fall, will soon arrive in dealerships.

Mini Vice President Jim McDowell confirmed this development during a meeting of the Motor Press Guild. McDowell told reporters that the Coupe will arrive six months after the Countryman, and that the Roadster will come 12 months after the Countryman. The Mini Countryman will start selling in the US in February 2011.

Wow, the coupe looks impressive. I'd take this car over the Honda sports hybrid or Audi TT any day. A good looking car that's a bit less "chick" like.

The only problem is FWD the audi make AWD. Although for the cost the Mini will probably dominate its class in autocross.
