Aston Martin Lines Up Their Future, SIX Cars In The Pipeline
Looks like things are going particularly well over at Aston Martin.

Once a struggling brand, it seems to be expanding into new markets. And although it is arguably diluting the brand, it seems to be working from a financial standpoint.

The future of Aston seems to be holding quite strong with big plans for the Cygnet -- you know, the Toyota iQ-based city romper -- updates for the DB9, DBS and Vantage, as well as a possible collaboration with Mercedes-Benz for a relaunched Lagonda brand.

Check out the details below and click "Read Article" to hear about the rest of the upcoming Aston Martin line-up...

Aston Martin will launch six new models over the next six years, including replacements to the DB9, Vantage and Rapide, as well as new models including the Lagonda and Cygnet.

Below, we reveal these models and their likely launch dates.

Cygnet - 2011

Aston’s retrim of the Toyota iQ city car is set to take up to half the firm’s sales in Europe from next year.

The Cygnet might be questionable to purists, but it’s going to be pretty visible in Europe’s cities; dealers have been collecting letters of intent from buyers, even though a final price for the car has yet to be announced.

With tailpipe CO2 emissions of around 115g/km, the Cygnet will have a vital role in helping Aston to cut its fleet average CO2 by the near-20 per cent demanded by the EU by 2015...

The Cygnet is purely a business/viability decision in that it keeps the Aston fleet compliant with emission regulations. What can you do? Laws are laws and you gotta play by the game.

exactly i hate the cygnet as much as the next person but big V12s gas guzzling V8s arent going to keep them around they need something to raise their average fuel consumption, Its funny he saids dilute the brand yet has nothing but praise for turning a car that competes with the low end of the economy car spectrum into a pseudo premium car thats so funny to me

I like how the article above talks about the Cygnet (necessary evil, btw, for reasons stated directly above) yet the pic is not of the the Cygnet.
