What ONE Thing Do You Hate MOST About The Current Car You Drive?

What ONE Thing Do You Hate MOST About The Current Car You Drive?
Let's face it.

The current car we all drive had one or many great attributes that led us to make the purchase.

Some of us drive our dream cars or some are driving the right car for their situation until they can afford to get both a dream car and a practical car.

But no matter who you are even though there are things you love about your vehicle there HAS to be those one or two things about it that you just HATE!

After all, there is NO perfect vehicle.

NONE.

So tell us those one or many things you HATE about your current ride.

Be sure to give us the year, make and model.

It's a Black car so many times I really hate dealing with the hassle of a wash.

But then when it's clean all is forgiven.......

Expensive car equates to expensive up keep. Oil change for V8 engine that requires fully synthetic oil cast ore than double a regular oil change and takes premuim fuel to run. All an all still fun to drive.

Own FX45 (2003): Like the Infiniti service --- hate the additional cost to maintain. But enjoy the fact that the dealer always has a loner on-hand whenever I need to bring the FX in. I've been able to (test) drive every Infiniti model b/c of that.

Also like the near rail-like on-road handling for something so heavy ---- I appreciate it even more whenever I find myself driving my wife's CX-7. The everyday ride is a bit harsh on unmaintained city streets. I hate that the FX was made before adjustable suspension systems became more popular ---- would have definitely "checked" that box on the options list.

The rain wiper settings. I can never seem to find the perfect setting whenever it's raining! Either too fast, too slow. Be it too much water on my winshield or that dry repetitive squeeging sound, either way, I'm annoyed my entire ride home. - 2009 MB S550 4Matic (Trust me, the Auto-wipe rain sensing setting gets my bp even higher!)

My 2007 civic has an auto tranny and when trying to jump into traffic is so painfully slow, the delayed throttle response could be a few seconds before anything happens at all, and it takes a long time for the revs to climb where the power is, so I just don't jump in front of anyone, I'll never get an auto tranny again. I got an auto tranny for my wife to drive, she still doesn't drive!

FWD. Even though my Camry 3.5 V6 can scoot, I can't stand the torquesteer and poor driving dynamics. Then again it is a Camry. I had more fun in my '04 Mustang V6 5speed, and it only had 190hp.

2003 Maxima GLE, the driver side heated seat takes over 10 minutes to come on(I am in MA), radio signal strength is bad.

Looking forward to the new car(don't know what yet) in the fall...

I drive a used BMW 3 series. How dare you suggest that I hate anything about its pure automotive excellence! Its a BMW. What can ever be wrong with a BMW. It sets the standards for what every car should be in every way. Therefore, the benchmark, is perfection for that reason, and others should copy and be just like BMW so they can be perfection as well!

Boxster--top up visibility is terrible for parking. Mostly you back up just going slow and pray. And if parking next to an SUV, forget it.

Comfort Access on my BMW.

To lock it you have to tap the door handle two or three times. Almost NEVER gets it right on the first one.

Better on my new 335is than it was on the 09 750 but nothing works as good as the Lexus system.

My 2007 civic has very weak air con, on hot days it barely works, I took it in to the dealer and they tested it, apparently it is acceptable to Honda, but not me.

get a can of R134a with a pressure gauge and refill the system. use the AC in recirculating mode only (will reduce moisture condensation in the evaporator and increase its efficiency). keep windows cracked open during the day, get a windshield foil/bubble wrap shade. good luck!

07 Mercedes E350. My car (her name is Michel) is near perfect....but I do have a minor issue with the automatic rain sensing wipers. In the Florida squalls its just not swift enough.

The massive storms we get in Florida are too much for any cars wipers. Ultimately you're stuck leaning forward, squinting to see the lines in the road, all the while with the radio off because it's distracting.

I have to admit though, my '05 CLK doesn't have that problem. As soon as it starts raining even slightly heavy, those things are going full throttle.

You just need to start making RainX a routine application every couple of car washes.
