Mercedes-Benz to introduce 16 models by 2011
To achieve further growth, Mercedes-Benz is currently laying the groundwork to successfully launch about 16 new or upgraded models for the remaining months of this year and the next.

Mercedes-Benz has posted strong sales since 2010 started and has recorded a 16% increase on the same period last year. Among the new models to be launched are the Smart Fortwo Electric Drive, the B-Class F-Cell and the A-Class E-Cell, which have alternative drives boasting zero-emission motoring.

that's an amazing amount of new product in short period of time. looks like they're on the same path as BMW with growth driven by more and more niche models.

S550, S600, S400, S63, S63, ML350, ML550, ML63, ML320D, ML450h... there are 10 right there... lets not get too excited now... I'm sure the SLK is the in pipe-line too...
