VIDEO: MINI Is RELENTLESS! Continues To Mock Porsche, ROCKY Style

Man, you have to give MINI some serious credit. If you thought the whole Nissan Leaf iAD with Steve Jobs was the marketing coup of the year, you better think again.

After that little note Porsche sent MINI's Jim McDowell, it seems that MINI has ramped up its efforts to get Porsche involved in its challenge.

Recently, banners have seen flying over Porsche Cars North America headquarters in Atlanta and hysterical videos released VIA MINI's facebook page continue to roll out.

You have to love the brass of this company!

It was pretty funny..........

But I don't know- after seeing it I was way more keen (meaning wanting to buy) a Red Carrera S rather than a Mini.

It would be funny if 911 sales actually increased after this rather than Mini......

I like Mini Cooper but this is just plain stupid. No one that I know of would cross shop buy between a Mini and Porsche. Porsche is still one of the best sportscar out there.

What is next Hyundai will make a 1200 hp sportscar and then calling Buggatti Veyron out? Give me break.

That's a matchup I'd like to see :)

493hp pushing 2646lbs? allowing every hp to push only 5.37lbs... That's a fair bit lower then the LFAil's ~6 lb/hp

Seriously, marketing coup? Mini's simply gone Jerry Springer with their ad antics. All this circus needs is some midgets and prostitutes sprinkled in. It's an off strategy for Mini.

Why would they compare the Mini to the 911? Where is the correlation? It makes me want to buy the 911.
