If Nissan want to compete with Camry and Accord, they better come up with redesign model just like the 07 camry. The 07 Camry SE V6 has 268hp and look much more sporty than the Altima and accord for sure. But it does not matter, the Camry is going to be the #1 sedan sold in the U.S any way so what point. So the 07 altima just change the light only? the current one 04-06 look better than that.

Let me guess, what do Carl drive, a bettle, no can't be and a vw, no ,I got it, I got it, a Nissan Altima, that right. It's a fact that the Camry has been the best selling family sedan in the U.S. for the past 4-5 years. If you don't belief me go online and do some research. It does not matter what you think or what I think, if you like the Altima better good for you, but I just happen to like the Toyota better.

OK (KARL), LOL:, yeah, I think the TL is a really nice ride, I must says. I was suppose got a TL myself when it first came out, but change my mind and got the new 2006 IS 350 instead.

Thanks for having the Altima's Back! Everyone is always hating on its SPORTY styling and UNBEATABLE performance. To bad the others(Camry & Accord) our so bland and boring that they have to immate what comes so natural for the Atima. Please expect the Altima to push the lid on the mid-size segment like it did in '02!

I would be glad,IF Nissan had changed it's front headlights,Becoz only the front fascia of the ALtima put's me OFF.

Rear is stylish, OK.

BUt now even i don't think they have a gone a step backwords,it's fine,AN IMPROVEMENT THERE.

U know it's actually nice if u look @ the rear tail lights in COLOR!!! I know because my mothers close friend works @ a Nissan dealer and I have seen pics of it already like these...

I think the interior is looking a little GM-ish! It also looks like they took peices of the previous Grand-Am and Honda Accord to makee the dash. It's still nice though. I actually think those tail lights r nice. When u see them in color. Im sure in a mid life update they will get rid of those orand tail signals and make them red. I still think Nissan has done a much better job on it than it's last generation. I'm sure the 3.5L V6 will pump out around 270hp. And the 2.4 I4 should make apprx 200hp. To me... the shape is still the same, it seems a bit rushed. THe front lights r just a little different, but it is all Nissan on the exterior! Not copies (well except for the interior)!

You can't beat past Altimas for styling, value, and performance. That's way they sold so many. I think Nissan may have taken a step backwards with this redesign.

The reason Altima tail lights have always been ugly is to make it easier for Nissans marketing guys to differentiate the Maxima from the Altima. I call it blackmail marketing i.e. if you want nicer tail lights, buy the more expensive Maxima.

If you noticed on the new Altima tail lights they look exactly the same shape as the outgoing altima... but only if you look at if from the top! It just looks stretched over, and wih new bulb fixtures!
