PHOTO GALLERY: 001 Arrives In SF To Drive The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
While I am stuck in New Jersey dealing with pollution and the Turnpike, 001 is out in San Francisco driving the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I am only kidding, I am not dealing with pollution. What do you think? I live in Bayonne?
But seriously, 001 IS driving the Grand Cherokee but there is one little problem. That is we are held to an embargo that says we cannot speak about the driving experience until this Sunday (6/20) at midnight. However, we can show you all the pictures we want. There is a silver lining to everything!
So, 001 just forwarded me these images to give you a taste of what's to come.
Keep checking AutoSpies throughout the day to see 001's uploads as he's on the road.
**Note: 001 is now going to go get his heart where he left it...

i saw one in person on the street last week. it was a deep, but kind of bright dark red color. it looked really slick, particularly from the rear. they did a fantastic job with the styling on this. if the quality and price are right, i see this being a very popular package.

Absolutely.
I think this will be the "Make or break" car for Chrysler.
I hope it is good.

I love these new GC's. If I was in the market for a SUV, this would be on my list. Where are the rest of the pics?!?!

Its amazing how you can be deboosted by stating a fact. For years the 6.4 liter hemi has been a crate motor with 510 hp w/fi and 525 with a carb and no forced induction. It meets emmissions requirements so this is what the next gen SRTs will have.

^^^I agree Hemicuda. I wish one had to state why they deboosted when they clicked deboost. You would then see the silly option used less.
Oh, is that 6.4 suppose to be offered in the cars too?

I hope Jeep give you a real off-road course to test it on, not like the "pee the bed" route Porsche provided.
