Chrysler to build the new Lancia flagship in North America
Nothing’s certain yet as Chrysler and Fiat are currently conducting a major shakeup of its product plans that are expected to continue within the next two years. At the helm of this shakeup are the expanding Fiat Group and CEO Sergio Marchionne.

Already, we’ve seen signs of these plans with the US unveiling of the Fiat 500and Chrysler-badged Lancia Delta hatchback. Marchionne also disclosed that the Chrysler and Lancia divisions would be merged at least in Europe. Various reports have indicated that a new Lancia flagship will be built at Chrysler’s Brampton assembly plant in Canada in about 18 months.

As usual 4wheelsnews has put up a pic of a car that is NOT the one the article is about. Relax, fellas. The car in the pic above is a front drive Lancia Thesis, not the rear drive 300 twin that is to be announced.
