These Cars Will COST You, If You Can Find Them - BMW's & Audi's Are Some Of The HARDEST To Get
If you hadn't noticed, in recent months the automotive industry has been picking up some momentum. Keyword being "some."

Remember, although year-over-year sale numbers are looking fantastic right now, keep in mind last year was an abysmal year for auto sales. Of course companies can report 30 percent sales increases when its sales YOY were in the cellar.

Compared to what they used to be, approximately 16 to 17 million vehicles sold annually, the annualized rate is hovering around the 11 - 12 million vehicles to be sold for 2010.

This is the most frightening thing for anyone involved in the auto industry.

More important than less credible YOY statistics are the cars that are spending less time in dealer's lots and more times on the winding back roads of America.

For example, as we have reported the 2011 BMW 5-Series is going to be a tough find as order banks are overflowing. And, Audi is on fire and the "hot" brand for now. The LED headlight treatment and R8 are really the two key contributors to its market expansion.

Take a look below at excerpts from an MSNBC piece that discusses America's hardest-to-get cars...

May was a good month for BMW. The German automaker reported 22,092 units sold last month, with total sales up 5 percent over the same time last year. It was BMW's best result so far this year, despite a year-to-date decline of almost 4 percent. Executives are optimistic about summer sales — particularly the prospects for the new 5 Series sedans, which go on sale later this month.

...

But it may be difficult to get your hands on one of these $49,600 sedans. BMW's 5-Series vehicles rank with the Subaru Legacy and Volkswagen GTI among the hardest-to-get cars in the U.S.

...

Audi manufactures several vehicles on our list: The S4, S6 and R8 each qualified as a fast-turner. But the $36,000 A5 stood out the most last month, when it broke its own sales records. In May the A5/S5 model line (which includes A5/S5 cabrio sales) sold 1,757 cars, a year-over-year increase of 145 percent....

I will agree that the A5 looks rich in with any engine. I would love one with the 2.0 but I am not going to pay full MSRP.

I got a girl that workout at my Gym that act like totsl snub Bitch because she drive a White Audi A5 with 265 hp. I just got a G37 coupe and during that time I was checking out the BMW 335i, Audi A5, Infiniti G37 and the G35 Sport coupe.

I end up getting the G37 coupe instead because I don't like Turbo on the BMW 335i and Audi A5 was way Underpower with only 265 hp.

I could of buy a BMW 335i coupe or Audi A5 but I don't act like a snub but this Girl act like a total snub bitch because she drive an Audi A5. I could of bought that car but when with th G37 coupe instead.

I hate freaking Poser and Ricer because they're loser thinking that they drive an Underpower car make them feel superior to those around them.
