Audi planning to increase production to meet A1 and A8 demand
Did Audi just hit the jackpot with the new A1 and A8 models? Apparently yes, as Automotive News reported that the German manufacturer will increase production to meet the higher demand for the A8 sedan and new A1 hatchback.

Audi will add Saturday shifts at its plant in Neckarsulm, Germany in order to meet the demand for the new A8 flagship sedan while the sales of the A1 compact is expected to exceed the planned annual target of 100,000 vehicles. For those who don’t know, Audi is planning to dethrone Bmw as the world’s largest maker of luxury cars by 2015.

lol its funny if Lexus did a version of the Yaris,Infiniti did a version of the versa or Cadillac did a version of the aveo, people would be trashing them for it. Audi takes a low end economy car calls it premium and no one has a problem either they dont have the cache they think they do or people have just gotten used to their coach built vws...
