SPIED: BMW's Revamped 3-Series Gets Caught Lapping The 'Ring

SPIED: BMW's Revamped 3-Series Gets Caught Lapping The 'Ring
Undergoing some testing on the infamous Green Hell was BMW's upcoming 3-Series.

Sporting some heavy cladding and the lovely white and black swirl, it is still clearly in initial testing phases. Hopefully within due time the panels will be shed and we'll get a better idea of what the next-generation 3-Series will look like.

Likely we can expect the car to grow in jut about every direction. Earlier shots of the mule have us thinking the car will be substantially wider than its older siblings...

Watching BMWs strip tease of its upcoming vehicles is always fun, especially when it's the next 3-series (F30), and even more especially when the testing advances stages. In this case, the 2012 3-series has moved on to track testing on the Nurburgring! Which signals that we should hopefully see some of that body cladding start to come off.

We can also start to peek at the front bumper underneath the heavy camoflage bodysuit in one of the photos below...

Some one here said that the car that comes after the 3-series in handling is a Porsche 911. What a joke. The standard 3-series doesn't even come with a Limited-Slip Differential.

And the 3-series get outhandled by cars like the Lancer EVO. The EVO's have 3 diffs BTW. 3-series are overrated, boring, Girl cars. If it doesn't have an "M" on the badge, then it isn't even worth considering.

@Badgewhore: "Why does a 4dr little luxury car bought solely for it's badge need to be tested at the ring?"

Why was your Toyota brand making cars it didnt test anywhere (pedals)?
