FIRST Modified 2011 BMW 5-Series? What Mods Would YOU Do?
Man, talk about an auto nut! Gotta love this kinda stuff!

Although this BMW is literally right off the showroom floor -- assuming the owner took delivery on or after June 19 -- it did not take long for a 5post user to modify the car as soon as possible. And, it is very tastefully done.

What modifications are you going to make or WOULD make on your 2011 BMW 5-Series?

Take a look below at the list of mods this 2011 535i has on it...

Sorry for the teaser but there's more to follow this weekend with a professional shoot with the famous jzhang

Here are the following mods I've done so far and the people that made it happen.

the car in general is beautiful especially in white BUT....personally the wheels really dont flow with the car. it needs a more subtle wheel and not a BBS style wheel but all in all its is a nice looking car

Agreed.

As I have realized from 001, the cross-spoke wheels are really old-school. Unless you're going for that look, I'd probably go with a thick five-spoke in gunmetal.

A very Beautiful car and especially with this color. The only thing that I don't like the new 5-Series is that it look like a Big BMW 3-Series. Other than that I really like it.

Nice but I would have put some 19" CSL reps on it.

The rims just don't work here ascetically, and they are too large, I wouldn't go with any thing larger than 18in rims, the width is great though, what more would I do? It looks all done to me? Maybe a full cage, although it would be better if the factory did it.

19" would be perfect in the 5-Series

The previous Gen had superb 19" for their M-Sport Versions in the UK and it looked Fab
{ And the ride was better than the 18" run flats }

Well, the car looks great. The only performance upgrades I see are the lowering springs and wider rubber. With these two mods taken together though he may be giving some of his actual performance back. The increased wheel size adds too much weight and the reduced tire cross section will effect handling and ride quality, especially when combined with lowering springs. To get the most out of these, he needs to have his shocks retuned. Also, the tire chosen is a mystery because the S-Drives have not proven to be that good. Tires make the biggest performance improvement on a car, so choose them wisely.

So far Racing Dynamics has the look for the 2011 BMW F10. Just look at the first image of the flash. That is a good looking ride. Subtle front valance and light-weight forged & staggered rims. Nice!

I'd do a Black/Saddle or Black/Black... put M6 wheels on it... and maybe a lip spoiler on the rear... nothing too major, it's a luxury car after all...

Looks nice. I just think that it looks like a bloated 3 series. Saw it in person, too, at a Ft lauderdale event. At first glance, I really thought it was a 3 series, until I noticed all the people hovering around it like it was something new, which it was, a brand new 5 Series. I'm really shocked that BMW is going in this direction with all their cars. Can't really tell them apart, now.

Where have all the good looking 5s gone? Gone are the days of classic BMW looks. Don't get me wrong, the car looks good but just not as good as it should.

Hey guys, Thanks for all the positive feedback! The pics posted where just basic shots of the car. Here's some professional shots take by John Zhang. I would never put CSL reps nor M6 wheels on a 5 series. The car has a few more goodies since then.
