TOP 10: Are These The BEST Cars To Take To The Beach This Summer?
In a question that has to be asked with the beach season upon us, at least us northeastern folk, what are the best cars for the beach?

There are two ways to really go about this:

1) Get something utilitarian and beat the hell out of it. Imagine, there will likely be sand all over the place and in places you will never be able to get it out of. Likely you'll want something that you can hose off and clean up easily.

2) Get something ultra luxurious or sporty and unwind at the beach with something that will put a smile on your face for the whole weekend.

Keeping this in mind, head over to see MSN's top 10 cars to take to the shore this summer. Click "Read Article" to see them all.

Whether that's the Jersey Shore, Maryland Shore or Newport Beach Shore, that's up to you ;)...

The best beach cars are big enough to carry a surfboard or two, zippy enough to hug a coastal highway, and so rugged that you can hose them out when they get too sandy. Preferably, they're all of the above, with a convertible top to boot. From cheap rides that help you work a beach rental into your budget to the coolest convertibles, from solar-powered cooling systems to luxury trucks that convert into campers, here are our choices for the best beach cars of 2010. Each one fits at least one of the above criteria. A few even fit them all...

That was easy, the Jeep! Convertible and it is the least likely to get stuck on the beach. It can also carry kayaks or surf boards or both.

Yah, I think I'll leave my BMW 1-series Cabrio at home and get a Hyundai Accent to take to the beach.. /sarc
Who comes up with this kinda shit? Do they even drive cars?

The only one really fit to drive on the beach is the jeep. the only other beach friendly would be the element because of the water proof seats and rubber floor for your surf board. I'd take the jeep over any of them for being on the beach.
