SIDE-BY-SIDE, Is The Audi A7 Gonna Be Bigger Than We All Thought?

SIDE-BY-SIDE, Is The Audi A7 Gonna Be Bigger Than We All Thought?
So, I know that the camouflage on the Audi A7 has yet to be shed and I also know that there have not been any earth-shattering developments.

But now we have something that has not really been seen before.

The A7 standing next to the A8.

Notice anything?

The A7 looks just about the same size of the A8, which means this baby is going to be quite large. Likely, it will sport more roominess than Mercedes-Benz's four-door "coupe," the CLS.

Although the angle of the shot is not entirely clear, the A7's roofline does not appear nearly as drastic when compared to the 8's.

Is the A7 going to be more of a BMW 5 GT -- in terms of design -- rather than a slinky CLS that is more form over function?

Audi’s new A8 and a prototype of its upcoming “four-door coupe” cousin, the A7, get caught looking mighty similar by Auto Motor und Sport’s Erlkönig spy photographers. And though it’s unfair to judge prototypes too harshly, the Nürburgring footage at AM und S reveals an A7 that leans in the sweepers and looks confused in kinks. With the rumors of an S7 and RS7 sporting the R8’s V8 and V10 respectively floating around, one hopes that Audi gets the chassis sorted quick smart. The A7 has to offer something besides worse rear headroom...

I think it's going to be between 195 and 200 inches long. In between the current A6 and new A8.

I agree that it will be in that approx. length. The A7 will be a beautiful time.

You dont really expect me to believe that we've been looking at spy shots of the A7 this long and you are just noticing that it has this much in common with the A8, do you? The A7 has looked large ever since it was first spotted on the 'ring.

I believe the CLS will be better looking than the A7.
