SPIED: BMW's All-New 3-Series Interior Gets EXPOSED!

SPIED: BMW's All-New 3-Series Interior Gets EXPOSED!
For the monster-selling BMW 3-Series, it is about that time.

An all-new 3-Series is theoretically "on deck."

But, the story here is not that we have spy photos to display for you. The story is about our sneaky, long-lensed friends at Carscoop who were able to obtain photographs of the new 3's interior.

Judging from the pictures, it appears to have 1-Series-like vents and a sweeping piece trim directly beneath that. Additionally, the navigation pod appears to angled in a different fashion than what we are used to.

Let's just hope that BMW goes for an angled-to-the-driver center stack a la E36, E46, E39 and on the F10 5-Series. That would be a very welcome addition, just sayin'.

What do you think? Would a 1-Series-inspired dash be your kind of thing?

BMW is continuing the development of the new 3-series sedan, internally called the F30. Captured here by our spy photographers near the Nurburgring race track in Germany, the four-door prototype is still under heavy camouflage, thus revealing little about its exterior styling.

However, buyers should expect an evolution of the current design sprinkled with styling cues from all the latest BMWs, including a protruding kidney grill similar to that of the
new 5-Series
and 7-Series saloons.

Our man with the long lens managed to snag a few shots of the prototype's interior giving us a glimpse of the new dashboard design with the 1-Series-esque air-vents...

Door looks still inconveniently in the middle of the dash, expecting the cupholder to be a let down too.

Sorry, but this prototype is just using a 1-series dashboard...I don“t think that we will see this old i-Drive screen, air vents and climate control in the next 3-series 2012!

Yes is true this dash is a 1 serie car ,could be the new M1 serie that is almost ready, but not the new 3 series I don't think BMW is going to repeat the same dash for a new and very important car for them.
