Mercedes-Benz now offering matte paint finish as an option
Mercedes-Benz now offers a matte paint finish, which is known as the MAGNO, as a factory option – making it the first carmaker to do so.

This paint, which has been included in many tuning packages in the past few years, is included in Mercedes-Benz’s 2011 designo customization program. This type of paint is better than regular paint due to its superior scratch resistance and its ability to hide minor dirt and dust. The design program features other special paint finishes and a wide array of tailor-made items for the interior.

That's fine other options to take money. Different colors for different taste people just choose. I like the classic Black Mercedes paint finish.

Gimmick... If I wanted my car to look like it was wearing nothing but primer, I'd primer it myself.

I was skeptical until I saw a Lamborghini in flat yellow...it looked amazing. I do wonder though if you are basically SOL for accident repairs though.

Don't care for matte black, looks like krylon BBQ spray.
