Infiniti working on a small front-wheel-drive coupe
According to the latest reports, it appears that Infiniti is currently working on a small front-wheel-drive coupé, which will borrow the same design philosophy from the Essence Concept, which was unveiled last year at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new car from Infiniti will have a coupe profile, but will deliver the same practicality as a three-door hatchback.

Interesting. But now that the Acura RSX/Integra is no longer on offer, that leaves the Audi A5 as the real competition for such a car. A hard nut to crack...very hard nut...

In fact it's not. RWD driver won't go for AWD, let alone a FWD, like A5. Therefore all Infiniti needs is to let a sexy design talk. That said, they better don't screw up this time.

Anyway, I think this is just a rumor. It might be a FWD sedan to go against ES, but won't be a coupe unless LEXUS proves there is room.

And w/ all electric car coming, INFINITI don't really need a FWD for CAFE.

Is this meant to be pitted against the 1-Series?

RWD or AWD.....FWD just doesn't work in the enthusiast community.

PS: Anybody who buys a FrontTrak Audi should be whipped with a wet noodle.
